The Northern Territory is a wonderful destination for keen bird watchers, with many beautiful species of native birds to be found in the Katherine Region. 

Nitmiluk National Park offers spectacular opportunities, look out for Great Bowerbirds, Red-back Kingfisher, Northern Rosella and honeyeaters of numerous species.
